The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is conducting upgrading and maintenance works, including asbestos removal on St John’s Island. As a precautionary measure, parts of St John’s Island, including the holiday campsites and the lagoon are closed to the public. The beach and lagoon on Lazarus Island are open to the public and accessible via the causeway from St John’s Island. SLA plans to re-open all the affected areas by mid- 2019. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Situated around 6.5km south of Singapore, St John's Island (previously known as Pulau Sekijang Bendara) spans 39 hectares.

Visitors who plan to stay overnight can book the Holiday Bungalow, which comes furnished with a kitchen and sleeps up to 10 people

Holiday Camp 5 with a capacity of 60 pax

For organised groups, Holiday Camp 5 offers accommodation for up to 60 people. It is equipped with basic cooking facilities, so you can self-cater or even have a BBQ.

The Holiday Bungalow and Holiday Camps are the only accommodation available on the island. Please refer to House Rules on the use of the accommodation.

Booking Enquiries and Procedure

The public can make bookings and payment for the holiday bungalow and/or holiday camps at SLA Service Counter (Revenue House, Level 12, closest MRT station: Novena MRT) between 8.30am and 5.30pm (Monday – Friday), on a first-come-first-served basis. Bookings are welcome for up to two months in advance.

You may wish to download and complete the Application Form together with the Direct Credit Authorisation (DCA) Form before coming down to our Service Counter.
