Lazarus Island
Just a 30 minute boat ride from Marina South Pier lies Lazarus Island. Previously known as Pulau Sakijang Pelepah, it translates literally to “Island of One Barking Deer and Palms” from Malay. As there are no direct ferries to Lazarus Island, visitors can catch the fixed ferry service operated by Singapore Island Cruise to St. John's Island from Marina South Pier and walk over to Lazarus Island via a man-made causeway.
As there are no food, beverage and retail shops on Lazarus Island, do remember to pack everything you need – floats, mats, towels, drinks and snacks when you visit the island. Do your part for the environment and help keep the island clean for everyone’s enjoyment, please do not litter.
