How to Apply for Short Term Rental

ENSURE YOU HAVE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS

• For event site which includes road reserve, clearance from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) must be obtained before the applicant submits an application to SLA.
• For event site within the Orchard Planning Area, clearance from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) must be obtained before the applicant submits an application to SLA.
• For wayangs, religious celebrations and dinner events, the support of the Advisor to the grassroots organizations of the constituency where the event is to be held must be obtained. A letter of support from the Advisor is to be submitted together with the TOL application.
•  For funeral wakes, a copy of the death certificate must be produced. SLA will assist to process such applications expeditiously in view of the urgency of the situation. It may be approved on the day the application is received provided there is no prior commitment on the proposed site.

SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

• The application for NRTOL must be made using the prescribed form with payment of the requisite processing fee.
• In addition to the processing fee, a licence fee will be charged based on the TOL Rate Table. Where the use is not included in the TOL Rate Table, the fee will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
