MANAGEMENT OF LAND SALES

The Government runs a regular programme of releasing State lands for sale to the private sector for residential, office, retail, industrial and other developments in line with market demand.

SLA assists the Government in managing its land sales system. Our roles are to achieve optimal returns from the sales of State lands and to appoint and manage the State's land sales agents. Where land is slated for release through the Government tenders and auctions, we ensure that land is available and the land sale processes comply with statutory guidelines.

SLA is therefore responsible for ensuring that all sales of State lands by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Housing Development Board, (HDB), JTC Corporation (JTC), Land Transport Authority (LTA) and SLA itself are conducted in the most open and transparent manner through competitive public tenders or auctions. SLA is also responsible for issuance of land titles and the lease administration for sites sold.

Currently, SLA appoints URA, HDB and JTC as our Land Sales Agents for the sale of State land under the Government Land Sales (GLS)/ Industrial Government Land Sales (IGLS) Programme. You may refer to the following websites for the list of sites currently available for sale:
